Last night, Peter Okoye of P-Square took to his IG page to threaten to sue anyone who used his image in P-Square to book shows without his permission. (Read here). He claimed he wasn’t aware of the show in Congo happening tonight and dissociated himself from the show.

Well, he goofed big time. Yesterday, I received an anonymous email from people at Airtel East Africa, who say not only was he aware of the show, he endorsed it and promoted it…and they sent me exclusive video evidence. They claim he waited for them to start promoting the show before giving them outrageous conditions and then pulled out and went online to do a disclaimer

The final burial ceremony of music producer, singer and songwriter, OJB real name Okungbowa Jezreel Babatunde is currently ongoing at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Grace Chapel, 129, Ogunlana Drive Surulere, Lagos..
The late music producer who passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 after a long term battle with Kidney disease will be buried at the Ikoyi cemetery, Ikoyi immediately after .
OJB battled with kidney problems since 2013 and was flown to India for a transplant. However, his kidney transplant failed again a week before his demise and OJB passed on.A Service of Songs and Tribute was held for the late singer yesterday, July 7, 2016 at O’jez event center, National Stadium, Surulere.

The event which was anchored by Okey Bakassi had in attendance some of the entertainment industry's popular faces such as: K- Solo, Essence, Rasqie, DJ Humility, KSB, Okey Bakassi, Sammie Okposo, Lara George, Azadus, Dj Boombastic, Grace Amah, Dj Gosporella, Jazzman Olofin, Daddy Showkey and Ruggedman.He will be buried at the Ikoyi Cemetery, Ikoyi immediately after service.

Emeka Ike blast Ibinabo Fiberesima over the leadership of Actors Guild of Nigeria

Nollywood actor and controversial national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Ike granted an interview to TVC recently. The actor spoke on crisis rocking AGN even when he said there is no crisis. He also discussed the court case that sacked Ibinabo Fiberesima, Segun Arinze to Kunle Afolayan‘s high budget movies and his wife-beating scandal. Ike said there is no crisis rocking AGN. He explained that whatever issue the association had has been legally resolved. On Ibinabo, he said her status as a convict makes her unfit for a leadership role and a bad role model to the younger generation.
Ike accused Ibinabo of indecent behaviour when going to meet prospective investors in Nollywood. He said about her “we are not running a prostitution cartel”. Emeka isn’t done with the past presidents of AGN as he also accused past president of AGN Segun Arinze of not qualifying to be the president of the association. He said Arinze does not have a first degree nor OND even when the AGN constitution says you cannot make anybody who does not have a first degree a president of the association. Ike is known to be a fearless man who spares nobody in his talks. The actor cum movie producer also lambasted people saying Kunle Afolayan makes fantastic movies. He said: “Don’t tell me Kunle Afolayan is making a fantastic movie. You gave him 200 million Naira for crying out loud. The entire industry has not even used 200 million before now to make movies for God’s sake now. So if you give a dunce that money, he can get the best producer. King Sunny Ade launches his radio station

The music legend KING SUNNY ADE launched his Radio station in Ondo state,He has been working on the radio station for years,His radio station is reported to be the first music and culture radio station in Nigeria. The music legend follows in the same line with Yinka Ayefele who established Fresh FM in Ibadan couple years ago.

Governor Segun Mimiko of Ondo state was in attendance to launch King Sunny Ade’s M & C Radio which will operate on 106.5FM. The Governor further advised the management to work together as one and for the betterment of the Ondo state people.

King Sunny Ade is regarded as one of the few African musicians who have gained international recognition for their attractive style of music

Burial arragement for late OJB has been fixed

The family of late Nigerian music producer and artiste,  Babatunde Okungbowa, aka  OJB Jezreel  who passed on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 have released details for  his final burial rites. The respected music producer and singer battled with Kidney problems since 2013.
He was consequently  flown to India for a transplant in 2013, after the successful surgery, OJB Jezreel, showered praises on his first wife, Mama J, for being there for him and donating one of her kidneys to save his life and also on the people, Fans and Friends that gave supports monetarily and otherwise.

However, his kidney transplant failed again a week before his demise and OJB passed on.
Jigga, as he was fondly called by close friends and asosociate was prepararing  for his 50th birthday slated for 4th of July before his death.
 His body has been deposited in Farewell Funeral Homes, Isolo.
He is survived by his father, Chief Anthony Okungbowa(Arase of Agbor), Siblings, Mrs.Theresa Ebunola Gamba(USA), Mr. Cornelius Archibong(England), Mr. Albert Okungbowa(USA), Mr. Anthony Okungbowa, Marvin Okungbowa, Bose Ajila Okungbowa and Joseph Okungbowa. Wives, Mabel Babatunde Okungbowa, June Okungbowa,  and Korede Okungbowa with eight children.
