Finally the burial arragement of Late Keshi is fixed

Nigeria’s minister of Youth and Sports Solomon Dalung has revealed that former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi will be buried in July.
Keshi who won two African Cup of Nations twice with Nigeria- one as a player and the other as a coach- passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Benin City, Edo State.Dalung has revealed that Keshi will be given a state burial befitting of his status as an icon.
The Minister along with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are proposing the weekend of July 27- 29 for the funeral of the late coach.
Funeral of the former Togo and Mali national coach will hold at his ancestral home of Illah, in Delta State.
A night of tributes is to hold in Abuja while lying-in-state, church service and novelty football match in Benin City and then  the final interment in Illah, his home town.

The minister is proposing a 20-man national committee for a state burial that will comprise family members, the NFF, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, stakeholders including coaches, administrators, ex footballers, the media and representatives of Delta and Edo states.

Military and para-military bodies including the Nigeria Police, the Department of State Services, the Nigerian Army, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and football supporters club are not going to be left out of the planning.
