Sougie who allegedly killed his wife at Oshodi area of Lagos state has been reported to have committed suicide

Remember the man who killed his wife,his name is Sougie,his 48 years,up the ghost on the morning of Friday, June 10 at the Police Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos state after being admitted at the hospital since Thursday, May 26. After purportedly killing his wife, by slitting her throat, the 48 year old murderer was reported to have drunk some poisonous substance in order to take his own life. As a result of him committing suicide, the men of the police force, were said to have inquired about the state of his mental health, as he never got well from the ingestion of the poison. On the day he allegedly killed his wife, he was found vomiting in the bathroom of their room and parlour apartment at about 4am by their son. As a result of Sougie’s condition, Richmond rushed to his parent’s room to tell his mother about his father’s situation, but met the dead body of his mother, and thereafter shouted. Nigeria’s social crusader and women right activist, who is also the president of Women Arise Initiative, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, who knew all about the case from day one was the first person to pronounce the death of Sougie Dr Okei-Odumakin posted on her Facebook page stating that: “Jafaru Sougie, the man suspected of murder of his wife in Oshodi is dead. This is terrible! #StopDomesticViolence. “Just in case this may help discourage the next would-be victim(s) to decide not staying put until…am sorry to share this kind of photo, but we have hidden same for too long that people aren’t getting the meaning of #StopDomesticViolence. “Late Jafaru Sougie thinned out dramatically till death. He had reportedly ingested dangerous substance immediately after the death of his wife. “I’m sorry to share this, we sometimes have to let everyone see realities of why we say #StopDomesticViolence.”
