The horrifying action of a jihadist for the Islamic State who executed his brother after he accused him of being a spy, has left many stunned
A 15-minute video footage shows the jihadist identified as Abu Abdullah, carrying out the punishment for trying to defect from the extremist group.
Abdallah reportedly accused his brother of being a "spy for the US coalition," and would have to be killed for his alleged crimes.
The horrific killing has reportedly come barely five months after another Islamic State, ISIS fighter killed his mother for trying to leave the area which is under the control of the group in Syria.
Ali Saqr al-Qasem was filmed as he used an assault rifle to execute his mother, Lena, 45, after she was reportedly found guilty of apostasy.
According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Ms al-Qasem was also accused of trying to persuade her son to defect from ISIS and flee Syria with her.
Afraid for his personal safety, Ali reported his mother's attempts which ultimately led to her arrest, with her son burdened with the task of executing her.
