What a sad news
Sad news of the tragic incident that has claimed the life of a six-year-old girl in a church in Lagos state, has surfaced.
The reports reveal that the Lagos State Fire Service disclosed that the girl was burnt to death in a church fire on Saturday, June 10, 201 around the Egbeda area of Lagos state.
Speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), The Director of the Service, Mr Rasak Fadipe, revealed that the unfortunate incident occurred at about 2:00am at the Faith Revival Church.
Mr Fadipe also disclosed that the boys quarters in the church premises had been affected by the fire which begun during a vigil taking place at the main auditorium.
“We met the fire raging when we arrived. It was after the fire was put out that we discovered the little girl’s burnt body in one of the rooms.
“The church authority was yet to ascertain the cause of the fire. We finally put out the fire at about 5:00am."
