Nigerian singer and reality show winner Monica Ogah has joined in the appeal in support of the release if an emerging music artiste, John Inas, who was apprehended by the police in connection with murder and robbery charges. On Monday, June 13, 2016 Ogah lent her voice in support as she took to Instagram to explain details surrounding the arrest of Inas and the allegations put against him.
The emerging Benue artiste was reportedly arrested on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 which makes it exactly two weeks since today since he’s been in police custody.
The MTN Project Fame winner, Ogah, narrates the details of the arrest and everything in between below. According to her, Inas was taken in for returning late from the location of a video shoot and though he was bailed earlier with the sum of N20,000, upon returning to retrieve his phone as told, he was held a second time and this time around, handcuffed and sent in to the state police headquarters on the grounds of murder, robbery and conspiracy.
